Speaker Bio:
As a self-proclaimed psychology nerd with a University of Houston Psychology degree to prove it, Lauren has been on a quest for self-improvement psychologically since she can remember and has been successful at ending generational trauma in her family line for the sake of her daughter. Originally wanting to pursue either sex/family/marriage therapy as a career, she decided she couldn't seem to fit into societal' s ideas of what it meant to fit into these limited roles (in her eyes). She always felt there were pieces missing in traditional therapy settings so she sought out for a truth that was more aligned with her vision -- a more holistic approach to well-being. Leading by example with her daughter, now 7 and watching her every move, she is passionate about empowering others by implanting the beliefs that we are each limitless and can create whatever our hearts desire... with the proper tools and action/support.
