Culture programs us all, but especially women, to be small, to not rock the boat, to fit in. However, there comes a time in life when we realize that "going along to get along" is destroying our soul. Our life, identity and everything we hold dear is at stake. I have successfully played on the inside of the system, working hard, playing hard, jet-setting around the world, only to be slowly destroyed by what I thought I "should" do until I had to choose whether to fit in or save myself. I chose the latter and never looked back.

Clea grew up in Italy, earning her college degree in Business Administration at Bocconi University in Milan before moving to the United States to pursue a Master in Business Administration from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University where she graduated with High Honors and was inducted in the Beta Gamma Sigma society. She spent the following years in the Credit and Risk Department of State Street Bank, the largest custodian bank in the world. While there, she gained the CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) designation. Subsequently, she became an independent online trader and asset management consultant for high-net-worth individuals and helped establish the first Thai Canadian collaboration project to bring world class hospice care to Thailand. In 2007, during the U.S. real estate market crash, she started a real estate company that she runs to this day. She also serves as Treasurer on the board of River Styx Magazine, the longest continuously published literary magazine in the US. Her memoir, Untamed and Free, was a #1 New Release on Amazon when it was released in June 2020. Ms. Annecchiarico speaks three languages and has lived in seven different countries across three continents. When shes not traveling, she enjoys her daughters and cats company at home in St. Louis.
